Sara Pittonet Gaiarin is a Senior Project manager and shareholder at Trust-IT Services with over 10 years of experience in the implementation of complex digital marketing and outreach strategies, particularly in the context of European Open Science initiatives. By combining project management skills with a professional journalist background, she coordinates the design of web-based solutions, communication and marketing plans in domains ranging from Data Infrastructures to the Blue Economy, from Healthcare to Space Technologies. Sara currently coordinates 2 high-profile Blue-Economy-related Horizon Europe projects: Blue-Cloud 2026 , which is building a European federated platform for marine research and contributing to the European Digital Twin of the Ocean programme,; and since May 2024 VeriFish which supports the creation of an indicator framework to communicate sustainable fishery. Sara is also the outreach manager of the FAIR-IMPACT initiative. A former journalist, Sara also has a master’s degree in International and Diplomatic Science from the University of Trieste, Italy.
