Samuel is a Developer and Data Engineer at the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), contributing to the European Digital Twin Ocean (EDITO) project. His experience lies primarily in geospatial data processing, data engineering, and data analytics, with additional expertise in cloud infrastructure, data spaces, and cloud-native application development.
In the EDITO project, he focuses on transforming geospatial data and integrating it into the EDITO Data Lake. He also supports contributors and researchers in deploying their applications and models onto the platform, while developing his own applications as part of the initiative.
