Patrycja Antosz is Head of the Centre for Modeling Social Systems (CMSS) at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre in Kristiansand. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Jagiellonian University and has extensive expertise in computational modeling, especially with agent-based models, exploring “what-if” scenarios for complex social systems. She currently coordinates SURIMI, a Horizon Europe Mission Ocean project, which develops nine socio-ecological models and a stakeholder-oriented toolbox integrated into the European Digital Twin of the Ocean (EU DTO). Under her leadership, SURIMI seeks to support sustainable fisheries management, socio-ecological impact assessment, and inclusive policy creation by combining ecological, economic, and human-behaviour data.
