Gabriela is a PhD student in Machine Learning at Mercator Ocean and Sorbonne University working on developing next generation forecasting systems for marine biogeochemistry. Her research focuses on integrating data-driven methods with ocean science to improve our understanding of the key processes that govern our biological oceans, and their responses to climate change. This work is conducted as part of the DTOBioflow initiative, with a focus on deploying these models within the European Digital Twin of the Ocean for real-time simulation and scenario exploration.
