Arne J. Berre is Chief Scientist at SINTEF Digital and Innovation Director at the Norwegian Center for AI Innovation (NorwAI). He works on digital platforms, interoperability, and big data infrastructures supporting AI and Machine Learning analytics. As leader of BDVA/DAIRO TF6 on Technical Priorities, he contributes to European strategies for data and AI technologies, standardization, and benchmarking.
He has led or contributed technically to over 20 European projects, including DataBench, COGNITWIN, DEMETER, and ILIAD, where he advances digital twins and data interoperability frameworks for ocean and environmental systems.
