Since 2024 Stella has been working in the Operational and monitoring department at Mercator Ocean International. She is involved in the optimization of the production simulations’ deployment. More in general she is in charge of giving HPC support to the R&D department. Over the past years she specialised in the implementation of mixed-precision techniques on fluid dynamics code and has led a team of around 15 people actively working on profiling and optimization of digital twins' simulation, the optimization of the interplay mpi-openmp and the offload to GPU of computationally intensive kernels.
