Seung-Buhm Woo is a Professor in the Department of Ocean Science at Inha University, Republic of Korea.
His research focuses on coastal and estuarine physical oceanography, numerical modelling, and sediment transport.
He has extensive experience in developing and applying high-resolution coastal ocean models, particularly FVCOM, to complex coastal environments.
His recent work focuses on integrating numerical models, real-time observations, and artificial intelligence into user-driven coastal digital twins for operational applications.
He also serves as Director of the Gyeonggi–Incheon Sea Grant Center and President of the Korea Sea Grant Association, promoting international collaboration and the practical application of marine science.
